Product Introduction

Well's 防滑液產品

Product Introduction

Well's anti-slip treatment is widely used in Europe, USA and Japan. It creates micro-suction on stone and tile surfaces - invisible pits that increase Coefficient of Friction (COF). After application and thorough rinsing with water, the surface immediately gains unique anti-slip properties. The change is invisible to the eye. Especially effective when surfaces are wet.

Significantly increases COF and safety on wet surfaces, reducing slip-and-fall accidents.
Does not change appearance, colour or texture after application.
Product Principle
Treated Surface
Untreated Surface
Well's treated surfaces form nano-level micro-suction texture, invisible to the eye with no noticeable texture change. These suction points create anti-slip effect in wet conditions.

Applicable Areas

Application Guide

1. Pre-set treatment time. Test on inconspicuous area first.

2. Clean floor of dust, stains, oil, wax. Wipe dry or air dry.

3. Apply anti-slip agent evenly, quickly and generously.

4. Keep applying throughout. Ensure floor stays evenly wet. No dry spots.

5. At end of treatment time, apply alkaline neutraliser or scrub with water and brush until no more bubbles.

6. Remove residual water with rubber squeegee or wet vacuum.

7. Verify anti-slip effect. Have client representative confirm on site.

Q&A

Anti-slip principle: When water covers tiles, a smooth water film forms, greatly reducing COF. Shoes contact the water film directly, causing safety risks. Well's breaks the water film, increasing contact area and friction. All tiles/stones contain free CaCO3. Well's dissolves a small amount, creating micron-level pits invisible to the eye. When wet, these pits fill with water. As you walk, water is squeezed out, creating countless "micro suction cups" that increase COF. The wetter the surface, the stronger the anti-slip effect.
Glazed tiles, antique tiles, anti-slip tiles, wear-resistant tiles, homogeneous tiles, ceramic mosaic, granite, terrazzo, marble, cement.

Engineered stone, painted surfaces, some marble, waxed floors, wood flooring.

Well's does not use acid etching, so it won't damage the surface. However, highly polished tiles or glossy stone may have slightly reduced sheen with long treatment time. Test in a corner first if concerned.

1. Anti-slip lifespan depends on usage frequency, wear and cleaning.

2. Without effective cleaning, accumulated dirt blocks micro-suction, reducing friction.

3. Use electrolytic cleaners for deeper cleaning and longer anti-slip life.

4. Detergent, dish soap or high-alkali cleaners leave residue that increases slipperiness. Avoid long-term use without thorough rinsing.

5. Never use corrosive cleaners: sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, hydrofluoric acid, toilet cleaner, bleach, etc.

6. Rinse with water after using cleaner/degreaser.

7. For kitchens, canteens: degrease daily. Oily surfaces are very dangerous.

8. Mops spread oil and can re-contaminate. Use a brush until oil is dissolved and removed; avoid cotton/fibre mops.

9. We offer maintenance products that preserve anti-slip effect and clean.

Wet the floor, press finger at 45° and push forward - greater friction means better effect. Walk on with shoes or barefoot to feel the difference. Subjective: Most people on site agree there is improvement. Objective: Use portable friction tester (ASM825/ASM725/FSC2000) when conditions permit. [ASTM D1894-08: COF ≥0.5 is pass]
Commercial: Hotels, factories, offices, schools, kindergartens, hospitals, restaurants, canteens, supermarkets, saunas, bathrooms, pools, showers, toilets, corridors, lobbies. Home DIY: Balconies, toilets, ceramic bathtubs. Especially suitable for families with children, elderly or pregnant women.
Ready to use immediately after application. Move furniture back and your home is safe!
Depends on wear frequency. With low wear (homes, light traffic), 2+ years with normal maintenance. High-traffic areas: reapply every 1-2 years. Maintenance during use also affects longevity. Using our maintenance products can extend lifespan. For wear concerns, choose our warranty plan for periodic reapplication to maintain optimal safety.
